EXPERIENCE
Oleksandra Pavlenko is known as a specialist in dispute resolution and securities and funds litigation. One of her major specialization is political advocacy. During her 10 years career, she participated in many national and international legal and business conferences, working groups on improving legislation and practice of litigation considerations, including drafting recommendations of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine on corporate disputes and litigations between the stock market entities.
Mrs. Pavlenko protects the major players of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine, representatives of the leading telecommunications companies. She also provided legal support in the process of State recapitalization of Ukrgasbank, protected the interests of Russian Promsvyazbank on the territory of Ukraine.
She was the authorized person of Sergiy Tigipko - Presidentional candidate of Ukraine and his authorized representative in the Central Election Commission of Ukraine and national courts in 2010 Presidential elections, headed the law headquarters in his presidential campaign.
Oleksandra Pavlenko has a vast experience in disputes resolution on the securities market, corporate disputes between shareholders, disputes with issuers, depositaries, registrars, custodians and other entities of the stock market. She has developed a strategy to protect companies from hostile takeovers and "raid attacks", as well as in lawsuits against governmental bodies.
Oleksandra Pavlenko’s long standing experience includes: representation of interests of stakeholders of the leading Ukrainian metallurgic enterprises (Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant OJSC (Nikopol's'kyi Zavod Ferosplaviv VAT ) etc.) in disputes on re-privatization; protection of interests of the presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko on annulment of 2004 Ukrainian presidential election results; representation of interests of the Minister of Finance of Ukraine; consultation and legal support of the President of Ukraine in signing international treaties with France; as well as representation of interests of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC in the dispute on gas market. She has protected the interests of Russian “Sibir Airlines” (S7) in the dispute with the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine concerning the plane crash over the Black Sea.
Heading her own legal business, Mrs. Pavlenko believes that "... a lawyer is not a profession but a lifestyle"
