Oleksandra Pavlenko – Woman of the III millennium

On 24 October, 2009 the fourth ceremony of All-Ukrainian award “Woman of III Millennium” was held in the National Opera of Ukraine. The main purpose of the Award -public recognition and appreciation of the women who combine private and professional life harmonically and who have achieved success in science, business, arts, sports and other spheres. This year the highest representative counsel, headed by Oleksandr Zlotnyk, the people’s actor of Ukraine, a composer, has traditionally chosen the winners in three nominations: “Outstanding personality”, “Ranking” and “Perspective”.
Oleksandra Pavlenko, attorney-at-law, partner with Pavlenko & Poberezhnyuk, Law group has received the all-Ukrainian award “Woman of III Millennium” in the nomination “Perspective of the III Millennium”. This year Raisa Bogatureva, secretary of the National Security and Defence Council and Tetyana Tsimbal, a well-known TV anchorwoman, have obtained the award in the nomination “Outstanding Personality”. The award in the nomination “Ranking” was received by such well-known personalities as Oksana Bairak, producer, Kateryna Buzhynska and Natalya Dsenkiv (Lama) singers, President of Magnolia-TV, the TV company Evhenia Tkachenko, Alla Shlapak, Deputy in the Kyiv City Council. Iryna Dororshenko, people’s actress of Ukraine and others.
In the nomination “Perspective of the III Millennium” together with Oleksandra Pavlenko the prize has been awarded to Olena Skidan, general director of Maxxi TV and Nadiya Tangiyan, creative director of the group of companies “Our card”.
"This award is rather symbolic for me, especially now, when the law firm established by me is at the stage of its development and progress.
