Oleksandra Pavlenko reported at the International Legal Forum in Yalta

On 1-4 October in Yalta (Autonomous republic of Crimea) the International Legal Forum - 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) was organized by the Business-Format under the auspices of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. Over 60 delegates from Ukraine and the CIS countries took part in the forum. Pavlenko & Poberezhnyuk, Law Group was the partner of this event.

Oleksandra Pavlenko, attorney-at-law, partner with Pavlenko & Poberezhnyuk, Law Group reported at the Forum on «The First experience of Ukraine in recapitalization of commercial banks: collision of general and special legislation». In the framework of the report the attorney-at-law has considered legal complications during implementation of additional issues of securities in the recapitalization process of banks for the purpose of the state purchase on the example of UkrGasBank’s recapitalization and she defined the basic legal complexities and their solving methods in the banking sector of Ukraine. The attorney-at-law also was a moderator of a round table, devoted to corporate conflicts and protection against hostile takeovers.
